Program Description
Gap Analysis: The conference serves as an entry point osteopathic physicians to explore the intersection of healthcare delivery focusing on whole-body healing. The conference highlights advancements in the field, emphasizing the interconnectedness of wellness and technology in modern medicine. “Paving The Way” will ensure the attendees gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving medical landscape and are better equipped to navigate the challenges within the realm of healthcare. Learning Objectives: Attendees will have a better appreciation for the biopsychosocial approach to medicine while gaining new strategies to employ modern tools in medicine. Physicians will depart the conference with a better understanding of osteopathic manipulative medicine, emerging technologies and treatments, and competencies to address the diverse needs of patients through a comprehensive and integrated approach to healing.

Accessing Lectures & Obtaining CreditRegistrants will be emailed the Zoom link to access the live lectures the week of the Seminar. Proper prescribing and risk management lectures have separate sign-in forms. These will be posted in the Zoom "chat" and emailed to you as well. Thank you for supporting our continuing medical education (CME) offerings. How Speakers and Topics Are Selected
The Oklahoma Osteopathic Association’s Bureau on Continuing Medical Education meets at least twice annually to choose seminar chairs, topics of interest, and the best presenters available to speak on each chosen topic. In addition, past program evaluations are used to determine speakers and topics from past conferences. Grievance Policy
Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and handled appropriately. If this action does not resolve the problem satisfactorily, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education. |
