OSU-CHS Project ECHO & OKCAPMAP

About:

Project ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) brings best-practice health care to patients in rural and underserved areas. Instead of moving people, Project ECHO uses a hub-and-spoke telementoring model and case-based learning to move knowledge. Local healthcare providers acquire the specialty knowledge they need to provide high-quality, specialized care to patients, empowering them to lead positive, sustainable change in their communities.  The Oklahoma Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health Access Program (OKCAPMAP) provides Oklahoma’s medical providers with child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health consultation, enhanced mental health education, and referral assistance to local and statewide mental health services.
